Admission is absolutely FREE!!! And this event is going to be a jam-packed show with a variety of South Asian musical entertainment. This year’s search has been thrilling so far. Vakeesan Muthulingam, Shobha Shekhar, and Harjit Singh Pabla, musicians, composers and singers of notable fame have come together as the panel of judges for 2011. And for the finale, the music sensation Prita Chhabra (http://www.pritamusic.com/) will also be joining the panel of judges. Unlike in the past, this year’s finale will feature performances by contestants of the CMR Star Search 2011 and performances by the judges and past winners too. A rare opportunity that shouldn’t be missed. Seats are limited so be early!

‘CMR Star Search 2011’ auditions held on July 16, 2011 saw lots of new and unique talents. There were many from diverse ethnicities and backgrounds that graced the audition with various genres in music.

By auditioning each and every one of you have inspired yourself and the judges. It was tough for the judges to select the Top 12 participants from the auditions. Two rounds will follow a grand finale in August 2011 to select Top 6 winners. The winners will render their voices for an album made by Vakeesan who is a popular music director in Toronto, Canada.
